Base pay will be determined by skills and experience. The role is eligible for team-based bonus opportunities. Temporary associates are not benefits-eligible but may participate in the 401(k) program.
Veterans, transitioning active duty military personnel, and military spouses are encouraged to apply. Brookdale supports associates in their journey to U.S. citizenship by offering to advance naturalization (Form N-400) application fees, up to $725, for qualified associates with at least one year of service.

Oversees daily kitchen operations, ensuring high-quality food products. Supervises and trains kitchen staff on culinary activities.

Education and Experience: Associate’s degree (A.A) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school. 2-4 years of related experience or equivalent.
Certifications: ServSafe Certified; required food handling/sanitation licenses as per local regulations.
Management Skills: Uses judgment and experience to solve moderately complex problems within guidelines. Applies policies effectively.
Knowledge and Skills: Extensive knowledge of culinary skills and organization. Effective leadership, customer service, and menu management skills. Ability to modify recipes and ensure sanitation standards.
Physical Demands: Standing, walking, sitting, handling, reaching, climbing, stooping, talking, tasting, smelling, lifting up to 50 pounds, exposure to hazards, and other physical activities as described.
