Position: Executive Chef

Qualifications:

  • High-volume, full-service culinary experience
  • Ability to foster a fun and motivating work environment
  • Strong judgment, decision-making, and planning skills
  • Ability to build relationships with culinary staff, hospitality staff, and guests
  • Experience leading and managing diverse teams
  • Regular inspections of restaurant quality, appearance, and sanitation
  • Conduct line checks and ensure food safety standards using Ecosure programs
  • Oversee product purchasing and manage culinary budgets
  • Drive sales and profitability through attention to detail
  • Motivate team members through praise and recognition
  • Ensure staff have proper tools and training
  • Experience with inventory processing, ordering, and payroll
  • Ability to identify and develop talent
  • Maintain food costs within budget and manage inventory levels
  • Create staff schedules aligned with forecasting and budgets
  • Address guest concerns professionally using AIM (Apologize, Investigate, Manage)
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Thorough preparation and pursuit of excellence
