Job Summary

How You Will Create the Extraordinary
  • Responsible in attending to the gaming amenities of the top 1% of the casino’s database.
  • Build strong relationships with their personal list of players that are specifically coded in the Executive Host’s name.
  • Responsible for year-over-year revenue growth for all their coded players.
  • Entrusted with the highest complimentary authority of all hosts.
  • Responsible for the development of high theoretical new members.
  • Assist with planning, coordination and execution of events, promotions and sales initiatives designed to attract and maintain high-end players.
  • Plan and attend on and off-site VIP events, administer the benefits of the reward program and provide personalized sales and service to VIP guests.
  • Maintain aggressive contact with assigned VIP guests via telemarketing, written correspondence, email and personal interaction.
  • Consistently deliver on all departmental and individual sales goals.
  • Serve as a player expert for casino gaming, simulcasting, and racing.
  • Also Requires: ability to multi-task, keen eye for detail, excel in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, outstanding communication skills (verbal and written), strong fiscal acumen, display professionalism and maintain professional appearance.
  • Other duties may be assigned at any time.
What You Will Need
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Proficient in English verbal and written with the ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical data, financial reports, and internal controls. Ability to respond professionally to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, staff, or members of the business community. Ability to write letters and promotional materials for distribution or publication that conform to a prescribed style and format.
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree from two to four-year college; or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
  • Flexible with working various shifts, weekends, holidays, and long hours if applicable. Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality/entertainment industry, employees may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the property.
  • Responsible for fostering a fun environment. Responsible for being gracious to all guests and co-workers. Responsible for promoting a positive influence in the community and participating in company- sponsored events. Enthusiastically supports, actively promotes, and demonstrates superior customer service in accordance with department and company standards and programs. Ensures that behavior and appearance comply with established standards. Maintains a professional work environment with management and staff.
  • Must be able to push/pull or lift up to 10 pounds and occasionally push/pull or lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Ability to regularly use hands to finger, handles, or feel and talk or hear.
  • Specific vision abilities such as close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus.
  • Ascend and descend stairs and maintain equilibrium for an extended period. Frequently required to sit, stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a license from the Indiana Gaming Commission and Indiana Horse Racing Commission. Will require access to all general areas of the gaming and racing facility, back-of-house areas and access to Patron Management data base and marketing strategies.
  • Ability to work in an environment where you are exposed to secondary smoke, occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions, and the noise level in the working environment is usually moderate.
