Monitors and reacts to security situations, safety issues, illegal activities, internal procedural violations, and regulatory infractions.

Proficient in English verbal and written with the ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.Ability to write simple correspondence.Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to company management of the organization.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. College education is helpful. Must possess basic computer skills.
Ability to add, subtracts, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Must have an outgoing, energetic, and enthusiastic attitude and be comfortable initiating conversations and creating a fun environment with our guests.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Must be able to stay awake and be alert for entire shift.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a gaming license from the Indiana Gaming Commission. Will require access to sensitive materials pertaining to the Surveillance Department as approved by the Director of Surveillance. Will have access to all general and secure areas of the gaming facility and back-of-house areas of the Racing and Gaming facilities but does not have access to the cages, money handling areas, soft count, and the vault.
