Job summary

Commercial Laundry Corporation is seeking a versatile right hand to support the CEO, handling bookkeeping, payroll, and developing reporting and automation tools to shape operations.

In year one you’ll own weekly bookkeeping and payroll, build dashboards used by leadership, and drive AI-enabled projects that save time and improve decision making. This role offers growth, competitive compensation in the DC/MD area, and a chance to impact core business processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree completed or in final semester.
• Strong Excel formulas and pivot tables.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• A genuine self-starter — comfortable working with minimal hand-holding.
• Curiosity about AI tools and applying them to business problems.
• High attention to detail, especially with numbers.

Responsibilities

• Own weekly bookkeeping and payroll administration — accurate, on time, no reminders needed.
• Build and maintain BI reports and dashboards used by leadership.
• Lead AI-implementation projects — evaluate tools, pilot, and roll out.
• Identify and automate manual, repetitive processes across finance and operations.
• Take on strategic initiatives from the CEO — market research and evaluations.
• Prepare materials and analysis ahead of key meetings and decisions.
• Serve as connective layer between the CEO and organization on cross-functional projects.
