Job summary

Aon plc seeks an Executive Benefits Specialist to support nonqualified deferred compensation (NQDC) plans and related executive benefit programs in a hybrid work model. The role interfaces with corporate plan sponsors, executive participants, payroll, and recordkeepers to deliver precise, timely service.

The candidate should have 2–5 years in NQDC or related fields, strong Excel skills, and the ability to read plan provisions and reconcile data.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years in NQDC, retirement or executive benefit plan administration, or related areas.
• Ability to work with detailed financial data and reconcile discrepancies.
• Intermediate Excel skills including formulas, lookups, sorting, and data validation.

Responsibilities

• Administer recurring NQDC plan activities: enrollment, deferrals, vesting, distributions, and data changes.
• Interpret plan provisions and respond to sponsor and participant questions accurately.
• Coordinate data with clients, payroll teams, recordkeepers, trustees, and internal partners.
• Reconcile participant and plan data, investigate discrepancies, document findings, and drive resolution.
• Prepare client reports, participant communications, and administrative calendars.
• Maintain plan documentation, participant records, and audit support materials.
• Use Excel to validate data and support reporting.
• Manage multiple deliverables with deadlines and maintain confidentiality.
• Identify process improvements to enhance accuracy and client experience.
