California State University, Fresno invites applications for an Executive Assistant to the Provost & Vice President for Academic Affairs. The role provides high-level administrative support to the Provost, managing communications, schedules, and complex documentation.
The successful candidate will handle confidential information, coordinate with campus offices, prepare reports, and contribute to an efficient executive office. Onsite work is expected with possible limited remote days.
The anticipated salary hiring range is up to $6,031 per month (Steps 1‑3), commensurate with qualifications and experience.
The salary range for this classification is $5,797 to $8,445 per month.
This is a full‑time, probationary, exempt position.
Positions at Fresno State are to perform their work onsite. Some positions, depending upon University needs and operations, may be eligible for remote work, one day per week, pursuant to Fresno State's remote work guidelines and the CSU policy.
The CSU system provides a comprehensive benefit package that includes medical, dental and vision plans, membership in the California Public Employees Retirement System (CalPERS), sick and vacation time, and 15 paid holidays a year. Eligible employees are also able to participate in the fee waiver education program.
Under the general direction of the Provost, the incumbent performs a wide variety of high level functions to relieve the Provost of administrative details of the office. The incumbent contributes to a positive work environment. As the lead office staff, the incumbent works with other office staff to assure prompt responses and prepares correspondence and supporting documentation as directed. The incumbent is responsible for collecting, evaluating and interpreting data necessary to make informed recommendations to the Provost.
