Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Executes administrative duties with minimal direction, handling time-sensitive and confidential information.
• Manages the chair’s calendar, schedule and travel, preserving time for strategic planning.
• Serves as staff and liaison with internal and external groups/offices/constituents.
• Directs and coordinates daily operations of the office/department.
• Develops meeting agendas, takes minutes, tracks projects and prepares expenses reports.
• Facilitates faculty and staff recruitment including travel itineraries and escorts around campus.
• Coordinates department events, secures space/equipment, prepares invitations and agendas.
