About the Role

The Executive Assistant to the CFO serves as a trustedright-hand partner to our Chief Financial Officer. This is a fast-paced,high-responsibility role for someone who thrives under pressure, manages asignificant workload, and takes ownership without needing constant direction.

You will help protect the CFO’s time, anticipate priorities,coordinate across departments, and keep key responsibilities, meetings, andprojects moving forward. We are looking for someone confident enough to speakup, make decisions within their scope, ask the right questions, and take chargewhen needed.

This is more than a traditional administrative position. Youwill work closely with the CFO and leaders across Barrett and become animportant partner in helping the Finance function and broader organizationoperate effectively.

What You’ll Do
  • Manage the CFO’s calendar, meetings, appointments, priorities, and day-to-day schedule
  • Serve as a primary point of contact between theCFO and internal and external departments
  • Anticipate scheduling conflicts, competingpriorities, deadlines, and follow-up needs
  • Protect the CFO’s time by helping prioritizemeetings, requests, and commitments
  • Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, organizematerials, and track follow-up items
  • Keep projects, deliverables, and action itemsmoving forward across multiple departments
  • Follow up with leaders and team members onoutstanding items, deadlines, and commitments
  • Prepare reports, presentations, correspondence,meeting materials, and other business documents
  • Organize and maintain confidential records,files, and sensitive business information
  • Assist with special projects and businessinitiatives led by the CFO
  • Communicate professionally and confidently withleaders and team members at all levels of the organization
  • Identify problems early and take initiative tohelp resolve them
  • Help create structure and organization aroundcompeting priorities and a high volume of information
  • Handle confidential financial, personnel, andbusiness information with discretion
  • Adapt quickly as priorities shift and newbusiness needs arise
