We are seeking an exceptional Executive Assistant to support the three Co-Founders of a high-growth technology startup based in San Francisco, CA This is a long-term role for someone who can bring order to busy calendars, anticipate needs, and exercise sound judgment in a fast-moving environment.
The Executive Assistant will spend approximately 70-80% of their time supporting the CEO, with additional support for the company's two other Co-Founders. Reporting to the Chief of Staff, this person will serve as a critical partner to the executive team, ensuring calendars, meetings, priorities, and day-to-day logistics run seamlessly.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary Executive Assistant to the CEO, managing approximately 70-80% of the role's overall support.
- Own complex calendar management, scheduling, meeting coordination, and prioritization for the CEO, ensuring his time is thoughtfully and efficiently managed.
- Coordinate meetings across internal and external stakeholders, proactively managing logistics, preparation, attendees, and follow-up.
- Anticipate the CEO's needs and proactively identify potential conflicts, priorities, and opportunities before they become issues.
- Manage occasional personal appointments and logistics for the CEO as needed.
- Provide ongoing administrative and executive support to the company's two additional Co-Founders.
- Partner closely with the Chief of Staff to ensure priorities are aligned and executive support is coordinated across the leadership team.
- Exercise sound judgment when determining priorities, handling sensitive information, and navigating competing requests.
- Maintain a high level of responsiveness outside of core business hours when needed and provide remote support on Saturdays.
- Maintain the highest level of discretion, professionalism, organization, and follow-through in a highly confidential environment.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience as an Executive Assistant supporting CEOs, founders, or other senior executives in demanding environments.
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Experience supporting executives in technology, AI, venture capital, private equity, consulting, or another intellectually rigorous, fast-paced environment strongly preferred.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage complex calendars, shifting priorities, and multiple executives with precision.
- Excellent judgment and discretion when handling confidential personal and business information.
- Calm, resourceful, and adaptable with exceptional attention to detail.
- Willing and able to be reachable outside of standard business hours when needed and work remotely on Saturdays.
Schedule:
In person, Monday-Friday with core hours of 9:00 AM-5:00 PM. This is a 6 day/week role, with remote work required on Saturdays.
Compensation and benefits:
$200k-$220k base + benefits.
