Job Title: Executive Assistant to CEO

Job Type: Contract-to-hire

Location: Hybrid, Onsite 3 days, Chicago

About the Role

We are seeking a highly capable and self-starting Executive Assistant to support the CEO. This is not a traditional EA role — it’s a strategic position that blends executive support with project management and organizational leadership. You’ll be the right hand to the CEO, helping him manage priorities, oversee projects, and coordinate with internal stakeholders, including HR and executive teams both in the U.S. and internationally.

This is a unique opportunity with high visibility and growth potential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-level administrative support to the CEO, including complex calendar management, travel coordination (domestic and international), meeting planning, and expense reporting
  • Serve as project manager for CEO initiatives — driving timelines, coordinating stakeholders, and ensuring follow-through
  • Partner closely with HR and assist with board prep and executive presentations
  • Liaise with the London team and manage logistics for board meetings and related events
  • Support event planning for executive dinners and key leadership engagements
  • Prepare documents, presentations, and communication materials using Microsoft Office Suite
  • Anticipate needs, take initiative, and act as a trusted thought partner to a highly engaged and collaborative CEO

Qualifications

  • 5–7 years of experience in an Executive Assistant or administrative support role
  • Proven ability to manage projects and drive execution across teams
  • Comfortable supporting remote executives and working in Eastern Time
  • Tech-savvy with advanced skills in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams
  • Experience in professional services or corporate environments strongly preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree not required, but professional polish and strong business acumen are essential
