Aegon, based in New York, is seeking an Executive Assistant to provide high-level support to the Chairman & CEO. The role requires managing complex calendars, coordinating domestic and international travel, and preparing materials for senior leadership and the board.
The ideal candidate has at least 10 years of senior executive administrative experience, exceptional discretion, and strong communication skills.
The Executive Assistant to the CEO facilitates and manages activities and information surrounding the Chairman of the Executive Board and Chief Executive Officer (CEO). This highly visible role serves as a key liaison between the Executive Office, senior leadership, Executive Board members, and important internal and external stakeholders while ensuring the efficient operation of the local Executive Office. Operating with substantial latitude to exercise independent judgment and discretion, the Executive Assistant provides comprehensive executive-level support to the Chairman & CEO by managing complex schedules, coordinating travel and events, preparing reports and communications, overseeing administrative operations, and ensuring seamless execution of executive priorities in a fast-paced and confidential environment.
This role serves as a strategic partner to the Chairman & CEO, enabling executive effectiveness through exceptional operational management, organization, communication, and stakeholder coordination.
Office Environment: New York (office based)
The Salary for this position generally ranges between $180,000 and $200,000 annually. Please note that the salary range is a good faith estimate for this position and actual starting pay is determined by several factors including qualifications, experience, geography, work location and operational needs. Salary may vary above and below the stated amounts, as permitted by applicable law.
Additionally, this position is typically eligible for an Annual Bonus based on the Company Bonus Plan/Individual Performance and is at the Company’s discretion.
