Job summary

SKDK is seeking an Executive Assistant/Scheduler to support senior leaders in a fast-paced political communications environment. The role involves managing calendars, arranging domestic and international travel, organizing meetings, and drafting briefs.

You will contribute to research tasks such as media monitoring and assist with client workflows, while maintaining confidentiality and high organizational standards. This position offers competitive pay and benefits in a dynamic office setting.

Qualifications

  • 2–4 years of experience supporting an executive or scheduler role.
  • Strong writing and research skills with thorough knowledge of AP Style.
  • Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Knowledge and passion for political campaigns and political advertising.
  • Ability to adapt and respond quickly to changing landscapes and work well under pressure.
  • Experience exercising discretion and confidentiality with sensitive information.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Scheduling Partners' calendars and organizing international and domestic travel.
  • Organizing client and internal meetings including materials, agendas, memos, and presentations.
  • Owning pieces of research projects informing client work such as media monitoring across broadcast, print, online, and digital.
  • Supporting client relationship management including calls and workflow coordination with client and team.
  • Developing ability to support the paid media process through drafting briefs and managing vendor workflows.

Responsibilities
  • Scheduling Partners' calendars and organizing international and domestic travel
  • Organizing client and internal meetings including setting up meeting space, creating presentations, drafting agendas, writing memos, and organizing meeting materials
  • Owning pieces of research projects that will inform client work such as media monitoring, including broadcast, print, online and digital.
  • Supporting client relationship management, including organizing calls and managing the workflow with the client and team.
  • Developing ability to support the paid media process through drafting briefs, working with vendors, and managing work flow.

Benefits

SKDK is committed to pay equity. SKDK believes the target base compensation in this role is $68,000-$75,000. In addition to base salary, SKDK considers other key components as part of total compensation, including but not limited to an annual discretionary bonus, commission on new business, and a comprehensive benefits package. Actual base compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors, such as skillset, level of experience, and location.
