The Executive Assistant, reporting to the Executive Director, provides administrative support to the King Boston team, primarily the Executive Director. They play a vital role in King Boston’s success by maximizing the Executive Director’s time to best achieve the organization’s goals and ensuring that the team has what they need to be successful. This is a great role for someone looking to gain experience in a racial justice, entrepreneurial organization. This role manages a rapid flow of work, handling many tasks daily spanning multiple projects, with a need to toggle between big picture, long-term strategic priorities and time sensitive details. They exercise significant discretion to ensure the smooth functioning of the Executive Director’s schedule and communications, helping to determine what external issues require the full team’s involvement or notification. The Executive Assistant helps to manage the Executive Director’s workload through tracking and prioritizing tasks; preparing content for meetings, presentations and projects; and working with other team members to ensure the successful implementation of projects where the Executive Director plays a role.
Position Budgeted: $65,000.00 to $75,000.00
