Qualifications

  • 3-7 years of experience as an Executive Assistant, ideally from a financial services environment or another fast-paced professional environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships and communicate confidently with individuals at all levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to different personalities, priorities and working styles, with the flexibility to move between assignments and changing business needs.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage complex calendars, domestic and international travel, expenses and competing priorities with a high level of accuracy.
  • A proactive and solutions-oriented approach, with strong judgment, discretion and the ability to anticipate needs and operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

What role will you play?

Join a collaborative and experienced Executive Assistant team where you will have the opportunity to work across a variety of teams and executives. This role offers broad exposure to the business and the chance to build relationships while developing a strong understanding of different teams and working styles.

While Macquarie offers hybrid working for many of our roles, this role does require four days a week in our office location.

As an Executive Assistant Floater, you will provide high-quality administrative support across a variety of teams and executives, stepping in where coverage is needed while also supporting ongoing assignments. This is a dynamic role for someone who enjoys variety, builds relationships easily and can quickly adapt to different priorities, personalities and working styles.

You will provide seamless day-to-day administrative support, including complex calendar management, domestic and international travel coordination, and expense reporting. You will also provide backup coverage across the business, partnering closely with executives and the broader EA team to anticipate needs, manage competing priorities and ensure continuity of support.

The role requires someone who is proactive, highly organized and an excellent communicator, with the judgment and flexibility to transition comfortably between different executives and teams. You will be expected to build strong relationships, quickly understand individual preferences and working styles, and provide a consistently high level of support regardless of the assignment.

Salary range for this position: $85,000 - $100,000/Year. Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, peer and market data, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.
