AWS Central Economics and Science is hiring an Executive Assistant (EA) who wants to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, exciting, and growing organization. We are looking for someone to both support the team's executives and work with other talented EAs to support various Amazon wide Economist initiatives, AWS wide science initiatives, and AWS finance initiatives.
You will be responsible for handling confidential information and maintaining professionalism in dealing with senior executives. Role responsibilities include managing multiple complex calendars, planning and organizing events of all sizes, and coordinating domestic and international travel. You will also help build a positive team environment and establish working relationships inside and outside of the group.
This role requires five (5) days a week in office.

In this role, you'll partner with leaders, individual contributors, and fellow EAs to manage complex calendars and keep operations running smoothly. You'll proactively anticipate your team's needs-looking around corners before issues arise, all while helping foster a positive, energizing office culture where people enjoy coming to work.

AWS Central Economics and Science (ACES) is a central technology, economics, and science team with a pan-AWS mandate to evolve, evaluate, and forecast the current and future state of the business. Our mission is to build technology, policies, and scalable business processes that help AWS customers grow. We earn trust by applying data, economics and science objectively to improve decision-making, by tying our outputs to measurable actions, and by collaborating openly with science and business teams across AWS to solve the most complex and ambiguous problems the business faces. - 5+ years of senior level leadership support, or 3+ years of Amazon experience
- High school or equivalent diploma
- Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications
- Experience leading process improvements
- Experience in a fast-paced, high-tech company
- Experience designing processes to maximize efficiency

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
