At CASPER MEHLOS LAW GROUP, the Executive Assistant position is a position with the primary objectives of collaborating with the firm's owner on implementing cutting‑edge business and litigation strategies; managing a fast-paced business and litigation practice, primarily in the area of criminal defense with some civil litigation; attending business growth meetings and assisting with strategy implementation as needed; assisting with e‑mail management and scheduling, including the logistics of court scheduling and trip planning; overseeing accounts payable and/or accounts receivable; collaborating with the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) as applicable to manage the firm’s finances; assisting with managerial functions such as payroll and benefits; implementing litigation strategies; and depending on interest and skill set, researching and drafting motions in criminal cases ranging from homicide to misdemeanor criminal cases and in some civil litigation including large commercial litigation, medical malpractice, and personal injury cases.
