Boston Medical Center is seeking an experienced administrative professional to support Vice Presidents and Chief Physicians. This role includes drafting correspondence, preparing presentations, and managing appointments.
Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree and 3-5 years in office administration, with proficiency in Microsoft Office. A competitive compensation range of $62,500 - $87,500 is offered, along with generous benefits including medical and dental plans.
Provides highly skilled administrative support to a Vice President, Medical Chair, or Chief Physician and their staff. General administrative duties include drafting correspondence, preparing presentations, reports, press releases, managing organizational contacts, attending meetings, preparing and distributing minutes, sorting mail, and ordering supplies. Assists with research grant applications, tracks grant reporting, and performs web research on federal research funding trends. Identifies articles and opportunities of interest by reviewing websites and printed media. Acts as the first point of contact for the Office, triaging calls from other departments, donors, the media, scientists, politicians, advocacy partners, and sometimes opposition groups. Schedules meetings, makes travel arrangements, and processes travel reimbursements promptly.
Compensation Range: $62,500.00 - $87,500.00. The range is based on the minimum job qualifications. Base pay considers education, experience, skills, certifications/licensures, business/organizational needs, internal equity, and market competitiveness.
