The State of California is seeking a motivated Analyst I for the Directorate Division, Executive Office. The Directorate Division, Executive Office is looking for a motivated Analyst I to join the team. Under the supervision of the Supervisor I, the Analyst I performs a variety of analytical tasks related to the efficient functioning of the Executive Office. Assignments may cover areas including gathering statistical data, assisting with correspondence, internal communications, and procedures. A high degree of initiative, professionalism, tact, and discretion are required. The Analyst I performs duties requiring independence of action, independent analysis, political acumen, excellent interpersonal skills, diplomacy, flexibility, and ability to work under pressure.
Telework eligible, remote‑centered position. In‑person attendance may be required for meetings, trainings, etc. Employee responsible for travel expenses. Telework schedules may change.
Salary ranges by series: A $3,861.00 - $4,839.00; B $4,181.00 - $5,233.00; C $5,014.00 - $6,276.00. New to State hired at minimum salary of classification or alternate range if applicable.
