Qualifications

• PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields with research experience in AI/ML.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills for technical and business audiences.
• Practical software development experience in collaborative settings; deliver modular, optimized Python code with tests.
• Experience leading and mentoring AI researchers and partnering with engineering and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Work on multiple commercially oriented research projects with internal data scientists and stakeholders across businesses.
• Formulate problems, develop hypotheses, create new algorithms, and conduct experiments with rigorous evaluations.
• Contribute to high-impact applications, reusable assets and products, and research initiatives.
• Provide thought leadership through white papers, publications and presentations.
• Own a portfolio of capabilities, drive strategic directions and prioritization within the portfolio.
