Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Composes, prepares, and processes confidential, technical documents such as proposals, reports, agendas, and schedules.
  • Records and distributes meeting minutes accurately and timely.
  • Acts as liaison between departments and leadership, managing inquiries and communications.
  • Coordinates and manages Salvation Army conferences, seminars, and divisional events.

Schedule/Hours: Full-time M-F36.25 hours per weekThis position is responsible for:Provides comprehensive administrative, project, and event management support to the General Secretary and Divisional Secretary for Program. This position is responsible for managing complex administrative operations, coordinating divisional events and training, maintaining digital resource platforms, and supporting leadership communications. Ensures the efficient execution of departmental processes while maintaining confidentiality, accuracy, and alignment with organizational standards.Key Responsibilities:Composes, prepares, and processes a wide variety of documents of a confidential, complex, and technical nature, including proposals, sermons, briefs, reports, statistics, budgets, forms, invoices, agendas, and schedules. Records and distributes meeting minutes, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness.Serves as a liaison between departments and leadership (General Secretary and Divisional Secretary for Program), responding to inquiries, researching information, and providing accurate and timely communication. Manages sensitive and confidential matters in accordance with organizational standards.Coordinates and manages all aspects of Salvation Army conferences, seminars, special meetings, and divisional events, including preparation of forms, agreements, registrations, schedules, and staff assignments.Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:Ability to meet attendance requirements.Work requires the ability to lift and carry, and/or push/pull light (less than 25 lbs.) materials, supplies, and equipment.
