Job summary

Big Night Entertainment Group in Connecticut is seeking an Event Server to join our team for private events at Foxwoods venues. A typical shift includes greeting guests, taking orders, serving the event menu according to the BEO, and ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of direct serving experience in a fast-paced bar or restaurant, holds a TIPS certification, and can multitask with a friendly, professional demeanor.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year direct serving experience in a fast-paced bar/restaurant required
• TIPS Certification required
• A neat and professional appearance
• Efficient and accurate communication skills
• Ability to build guest loyalty with an outgoing and friendly demeanor
• Excellent memory and ability to multitask
• Work schedule flexibility with night, weekend and holiday availability
• A positive attitude and aptitude to handle high-volume environments

Responsibilities

• Greeting guests joining private events with a welcoming smile and friendly demeanor
• Attending to guests and taking food and/or beverage orders
• Serving the event menu selections according to the BEO
• Ensuring guests' orders are accurate and served in a timely manner
• Resolving service issues with empathy and according to guidelines
• Monitoring guest consumption of alcohol and intervening when needed according to all company guidelines
• Promoting Big Night Entertainment Group in a positive and professional manner
• Maintaining a clean and well stocked work environment
