Job summary

Horace Mann is seeking an Exclusive Insurance Agent to serve educators in a dedicated territory. This role offers a competitive, 1099-based compensation plan with a robust 48-month incentive package and ongoing training.

You will focus on building relationships, presenting a comprehensive multiline product portfolio, and leveraging market programs to grow your network, with no external office required for 2 years.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in the insurance and financial services industry (preferred)
• Strong interpersonal and business management skills to build and manage your agency
• Ability to obtain licenses (Life and Health, Property and Casualty)
• FINRA Series 6 & 63 licenses (if applicable in your region)

Responsibilities

• Identify and implement solutions that help educators achieve affordable insurance solutions and financial security
• Achieve market access and build strong relationships with clients
• Confidently present products to groups and individuals
• Actively engage in networking, community, and industry events
