Job summary

Horace Mann - Agent Opportunities is seeking an Exclusive Insurance Agent to help educators secure affordable coverage while building a personal business. You’ll operate with a 1099 compensation structure and leverage our resources to grow your client base.

You’ll receive support from a dedicated service representative, access to a multiline product portfolio, and valuable incentives during the first years, with no office required for the initial period.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in the insurance/financial services industry.
• Resident State General Lines Insurance Licenses: Life and Health Insurance License, Property and Casualty Insurance License.
• Ability to obtain FINRA Series 6 & 63 licenses (if applicable).

Responsibilities

• Identify and present affordable insurance solutions to educators.
• Build market access and relationships through networking and events.
• Manage agency operations and client relationships with support from a dedicated service representative.
