As the Excess Workers’ Compensation Senior Regional Underwriting Manager, you will play a critical role in driving profitable growth within an assigned territory while serving as a trusted partner to brokers, clients, and internal stakeholders. You will leverage your expertise in excess workers’ compensation underwriting to evaluate complex risks, develop strategic underwriting solutions, and strengthen agency relationships that support long-term business success.
In this role, you will be the face of Safety National throughout your territory, balancing technical underwriting excellence with business development and relationship management. You will collaborate closely with Business Development, Claims, Actuarial, Legal, and other underwriting teams to deliver customized solutions, manage regional strategies, and identify opportunities to expand our market presence. You will also contribute to underwriting initiatives, mentor less experienced underwriters, and help shape the future direction of our Excess Workers’ Compensation underwriting operations.

In our vision to be First with Co-Workers, compensation is only one piece of the comprehensive total rewards package we offer. The target base salary range for this position is $133,975 to $242,500. Compensation for the successful candidate will consider the candidate’s particular combination of knowledge, skills, competencies, experience and geographic location.
