Safety National is seeking an Account Services Assistant (Premium Audit Assistant) to support premium audit operations. You will coordinate audits for excess standalone and out-of-state primary workers’ compensation, track progress, maintain documentation, and communicate with brokers, audit vendors, underwriting and internal partners.
This non-exempt, entry-level role is hybrid with a minimum 3 days per week in our St. Louis Corporate Office at 1832 Schuetz Rd, Saint Louis, MO.

Responsible for seeing policies through to the finish line, our Account Services Department facilitates the processes between Claims, Underwriting, and our brokers. Ranging from rating services to audits to operational guidance, the available career opportunities are abundant with varying levels of specialty. As an Account Services Assistant (internally known as “Premium Audit Assistant”), you will provide administrative support that helps keep our Premium Audit operations running smoothly and efficiently. In this entry‑level role, you will coordinate the lifecycle of excess standalone and out‑of‑state primary workers’ compensation audits by ordering audits, tracking their progress, maintaining documentation, and ensuring timely communication with brokers, third‑party audit vendors, underwriting, and internal business partners. You will organize multiple priorities while following established procedures and service standards, helping deliver quality work that supports departmental and corporate objectives. Please note, this position is classified as Non‑Exempt under federal wage and hour laws. As such, you will be required to clock in and out for all hours worked and will be eligible for overtime pay for any hours worked over 40 in a given work week.

Safety National is committed to fair, transparent pay and we strive to provide competitive, market‑based compensation. In our vision to be First with Co‑Workers, compensation is only one piece of the comprehensive total rewards package we offer. The target base salary range for this position is $41,000 to $52,500. Compensation for the successful candidate will consider the candidate’s particular combination of knowledge, skills, competencies, experience and geographic location.
