Work may require performance of hazardous tasks under emergency and/or arduous conditions, which involve physical and mental stress. Weekends, holidays and rotating shifts are required.**To be considered as a Exceptional Entry Level Deputy, you must meet these minimum requirements:**Certified by the Washington State Criminal Justice Training Commission as a qualified law enforcement officer, but have less than two years of police experience. If you live outside Washington State, you must be Certified as a law enforcement officer and meet the Washington State Criminal Justice Training Commission WAC Requirements, be sent to the WSCJTC for the equivalency training: and Meets all other minimum qualifications required of entry level applicants. Candidates that qualify, must score a minimum of **75%** on the oral examination.
