IREDELL-STATESVILLE SCHOOLS is seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to support students, teachers, and families by promoting positive self-esteem and resilience through ABA-guided assessment and intervention in school settings.
The role involves developing and implementing behavioral plans, providing staff training, collaborating with the Autism Team and MTSS, and traveling between district sites as required. A BCBA certification and driving access are required.

Under the general supervision of the Executive Director of Exceptional Children, to assist students, teachers, and parents in enabling students to derive the fullest educational experience from school by promoting positive self-esteem and resilience, and providing ABA-guided assessment and intervention in the school setting.
Performs other related tasks as assigned by the Director of Exceptional Children and other central office administrators as designated by the Superintendent.
Uses standard office equipment such as personal computer, printer, copy and fax machines, and telephone.
Travels to school district buildings and professional meetings as required.
Physical Requirements: Ability to travel between schools/sites. Normal routine levels of activity related to bending, carrying, climbing, reaching, sitting, standing, walking and may also involve above-average levels of activity at times that cannot always be anticipated. Ability to lift and carry materials that could exceed 35 pounds and the ability to meet the physical needs of the students.
