Job summary

BD Excellence Staff Engineer in El Paso leads continuous improvement across manufacturing and quality, deploying BD Excellence Management System and Lean methods. You will coach teams, run Kaizen and Value Stream Mapping, and drive waste elimination with cross-functional collaboration to meet safety, quality and cost goals.

This role partners with site leadership to sustain improvements and align with BD objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing, operational excellence, continuous improvement, engineering, quality, or related functions.
• Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement methodologies.
• Experience leading cross-functional projects and improvement initiatives.
• Advanced analytical and data interpretation skills.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Power BI, Excel, and data analysis tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead site-level strategic improvement projects from inception to completion.
• Develop project plans, timelines, risk assessments, and stakeholder communication plans.
• Track and report project progress to site leadership.
• Ensure sustainability plans are established and maintained following project implementation.
