Job summary

Cambridge Public Schools is seeking an Excel Tutoring Program Lead to provide districtwide operational and programmatic support for the Excel Tutoring program. This in-person, afterschool role helps students with identified academic needs through structured tutoring and staff development.

The position requires coordinating training, maintaining student rosters, and ensuring consistent program execution across schools.

Qualifications

• Current Cambridge Public Schools employee.
• Strong organizational, project management, and communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate a multi-site program and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and facilitate training and preparation for Lead Tutors, Tutors, and Site Coordinators.
• Provide ongoing support and guidance to Lead Tutors, Tutors, and Site Coordinators; respond to program questions.
• Maintain districtwide lists of students eligible for Excel Tutoring; support enrollment and participation processes.
• Coordinate with schools to maintain rosters and program information.
• Create and maintain school-based Excel Tutoring homepages for schedules, rosters, resources, and forms.
• Manage communications from tutors, school staff, and families; connect to appropriate supports.
• Oversee program operations across participating schools: staffing, enrollment, attendance, schedules, and needs.
• Identify and troubleshoot operational issues affecting implementation.
• Support consistent implementation of districtwide tutoring expectations across schools.
• Coordinate with the Office of Academics on implementation and support needs; assist with launch and closeout.
