Job summary

Prince Contracting, LLC is seeking an experienced heavy equipment operator to excavate, move, and grade earth, erect structures, and lay pavement. You will operate bulldozers, loaders, and related equipment on outdoor sites in Florida, following safety regulations and site instructions.

Responsibilities include coordinating with crew signals, performing equipment maintenance, checking fuels, and ensuring health and safety standards on busy job sites.

Qualifications

• Understand work directions and communicate effectively with foremen and supervisors.
• Able to work 8–10 hours outdoors in all weather.
• Stand, kneel, lift up to 60 pounds, pull, squat, and walk.
• Maintain awareness of concurrent jobsite activities and equipment movement.
• Willingness to perform manual work.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment to excavate, move, and grade earth and pour pavement or concrete.
• Follow safety regulations and avoid hazards on site.
• Coordinate machine actions with crew signals and hand signals from workers.
• Load and move dirt, rocks, or materials using trucks, cranes, graders or related equipment.
• Repair and maintain equipment and perform emergency adjustments as needed.
• Check fuel supplies at sites to ensure adequate availability.
