Job summary

Qualifications

• Must understand work directions and communicate with foremen, supervisors and crew.
• Must be able to work eight to ten hours per day outdoors in various weather.
• Ability to stand, kneel, lift up to 60 pounds, squat and walk.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment to excavate, move, grade earth, or pave surfaces as directed.
• Adjust and control attachments such as blades, buckets, scrapers, or booms.
• Locate underground services before starting work and monitor safety.
• Load and move dirt and materials with trucks and loaders.
• Repair and maintain equipment and report issues as needed.
