Job summary

S&B USA Construction in Virginia Beach area is seeking an Excavator Operator to safely operate heavy equipment on our civil and industrial projects. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and service with hands-on responsibilities on excavators, backhoes, and loaders.

Applicants should have at least three years of experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to pass a drug test; CDL Class A is preferred.

Qualifications

• Three years of experience required.
• Valid Driver’s License with clean driving history.
• CDL Class A driver’s license preferred.
• Experience operating backhoes, excavators, loaders and skid steer.
• Applicant must be able to pass drug test.
• The position location is in Chesapeake, Virginia.
• Individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
• Able to work well in a team environment.
• Can take and apply direction from supervisor.
• Workers must provide their own safety footwear.
• Workers must have reliable transportation, or be able to access jobsites in any location.
• Saturdays are required periodically as needed.

Responsibilities

• Safely and skillfully operate various equipment including backhoes, loaders and skid steers with emphasis on excavators.
• Maintain equipment in proper operating condition by performing simple preventative maintenance and repair tasks.
• Perform tasks in a safe and accident-free manner.
