Job summary

Branch's Civil Division is seeking an experienced Excavator Operator in a safety-focused role based in Virginia. The operator will handle power shovel work, grading to line and grade, and routine equipment maintenance with various track and rubber-tired machines.

This full-time position requires 1–3 years of excavator experience and a working knowledge of OSHA regulations; DOT experience is a plus but not required. The role supports a growing civil team near Fredericksburg.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of construction techniques.
• 1 to 3 years of excavator operating experience.
• Working knowledge of OSHA regulations.
• DOT experience preferred, but not required

Responsibilities

• Grades to line and grade
• May service and make normal operating adjustments to equipment
• Can operate on track or rubber tired and also included under this title will be gradall or wrist-o-twist type equipment
• May complete minor repairs
• Routine cleaning of equipment
