Job summary

S&B USA Construction is seeking an Excavator Operator in Chesapeake, Virginia. The role focuses on safely operating excavators and related equipment, with emphasis on trenching, pipe setting, and loading trucks.

The position requires experience with excavation and related tasks, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to pass a drug test. Local work with potential weekend hours is expected, in a team-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Three years of experience required.
• Valid Driver's License with clean driving history.
• CDL Class A driver's license preferred.
• Experience operating various equipment including backhoes, excavators, loaders and skid steer.
• Applicant must be able to pass drug test.
• The position location is in Chesapeake, Virginia
• Individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily
• Able to work well in a team environment
• Can take and apply direction from supervisor
• Workers must provide their own safety footwear
• Workers must have reliable transportation, or be able to access jobsites in any location
• Saturdays are required periodically as needed

Responsibilities

• Safely and skillfully operate various equipment including backhoes, loaders and skid steers with emphasis on excavators.
• Maintain equipment in proper operating condition by performing simple preventative maintenance and repair tasks.
• Perform tasks in a safe and accident-free manner.
