Job summary

Branch Builds, Inc.'s Civil Division seeks an experienced Pipe Crew Excavator Operator in Virginia Beach to operate a power shovel and support pipe installation. You will work on a crew, perform line-and-grade tasks, and maintain equipment.

Candidates should have 1–3 years of excavator experience on a pipe crew, working knowledge of OSHA regulations, and DOT experience is preferred but not required. The role is full-time with 40+ hours and on-site work.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of excavator operating experience on a pipe crew.
• Working knowledge of OSHA regulations.
• DOT experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Grades to line and grade.
• May service and make normal operating adjustments to equipment.
• Can operate on track or rubber tired and also included under this title will be gradall or wrist-o-twist type equipment.
• May complete minor repairs.
• Routine cleaning of equipment.
