A large-scale excavation and site development project in the Omaha area is seeking experienced Heavy Equipment Operators to join the team. In this role, you'll operate modern heavy equipment to move, grade, and shape earth for future commercial construction. Operate bulldozers to push, grade, and level soil for site preparation and building pad development.
Use excavators, track hoes, loaders, and other heavy equipment to move and place material throughout the jobsite.
Load trucks safely and efficiently with soil and other excavated materials.
Perform repetitive production earthmoving tasks while maintaining quality and accuracy.
Grade surfaces to specified elevations and slopes.
Follow site plans and supervisor directions while working independently in equipment cabs.
Minimum 2 years of heavy equipment operating experience.
Experience operating bulldozers for grading and earthmoving projects.
Experience operating excavators, track hoes, and loaders.
Ability to accurately grade and level surfaces.
Knowledge of construction site safety practices.
Ability to work independently and maintain productivity throughout the shift.
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
Experience working on large civil construction or excavation projects.
Mass earthmoving and site development experience.
Building pad preparation and grading experience.
Experience operating multiple types of heavy equipment.
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Omaha, NE.
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
