Job summary

Branch’s Civil Division is seeking an experienced Excavator Operator to join a growing company. The role involves operating power shovels of ½ yard capacity or larger, with duties including grading, minor repairs, and routine equipment cleaning.

Applicants should have 1–3 years of excavator experience and a solid understanding of OSHA regulations. The position is full-time with on-site responsibilities; on-call hours may be required to address weather delays and emergencies at the job site.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of construction techniques
• 1 to 3 years of excavator operating experience
• Working knowledge of OSHA regulations
• DOT experience preferred, but not required

Responsibilities

• Grades to line and grade
• May service and make normal operating adjustments to equipment
• Operate on track or rubber tired; includes gradall or wrist-o-twist equipment
• May complete minor repairs
• Routine cleaning of equipment
