Job summary

Branch Builds, Inc. is seeking an experienced and safety-oriented Excavator Operator for our Fredericksburg, VA site. You will operate power shovels on-site, assist with grading, and perform routine maintenance to ensure equipment readiness and safety.

This is a full-time, on-site position. Required qualifications include 1–3 years of excavator operating experience and working knowledge of OSHA regulations; DOT experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience operating excavators is required (1–3 years).
• Knowledge of construction techniques and site safety practices.
• Working knowledge of OSHA regulations.
• DOT experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Grade to line and grade.
• May service and make normal operating adjustments to equipment.
• Operate on track or rubber-tired; may use gradall or wrist-o-twist equipment.
• May complete minor repairs and perform routine cleaning of equipment.
