Roto-Rooter Services Company is seeking an Excavation Technician/Laborer to perform residential and commercial excavations for sewer and water service repairs and replacements. The role involves handling excavation tasks, pipe installations, and site safety across multiple job sites.

The position requires hands-on excavation experience, a valid drivers license (CDL may be needed for certain vehicles), and the ability to work nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Hands-on excavation experience in residential and commercial settings.
• Valid drivers license; CDL may be required depending on vehicle.
• Proficient navigating excavation environments, including confined spaces and trenches.
• Complete jobs within specified timelines.
• Current CDL or ability to obtain within 90 days if required for vehicle.
• Trenchless water, sewer & gas experience is a plus.
• Willing to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize safety by following OSHA and company protocols.
• Interact with customers as needed.
• Perform excavation tasks followed by pipe repairs or new installations.
• Operate back-hoe, mini-excavator, skid steers or similar equipment to excavate and load materials.
• Work in confined spaces and open trenches.
• Travel to job sites and operate service vehicle safely between locations.
