Job summary

Ohio Valley Electric in Cincinnati is seeking an Excavation Laborer to support excavation and site development, including grading, trenching, and general site prep. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in excavation work and familiarity with electrical conduit.

Responsibilities include operating or assisting with skid steers, mini excavators, and loaders, reading grade stakes, ensuring proper elevations, and staying safe under OSHA standards.

Qualifications

  • 1–3+ years of experience in excavation or site work.
  • Basic understanding of grading, elevations, and site layout.
  • Experience operating heavy equipment (skid steer, excavator, etc.) preferred.
  • Experience working with or around electrical conduit strongly preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction plans is a plus.
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work in a team environment.
  • Ability to perform physically demanding work in various weather conditions.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred.

Job Summary:
