• Position Overview** This role supports excavation crews with foundation preparation, pipe installation, grading, and general site labor. The ideal candidate is reliable, physically capable, and able to follow direction in a fast-paced outdoor environment.

Key Responsibilities

• **Shoot grades & foundation prep** - Assist with shooting grades for house foundations and verifying elevation accuracy
• **Pipe laying & assembly** - Help lay pipe, glue pipe sections, and support utility installation
• **Sand mound work** - Rake and level the tops of sand mounds to meet project specifications
• **Shoveling & raking** - Perform continuous shoveling, raking, and other physically demanding labor
• **Assist equipment operators** - Carry, load, and stage materials to support excavator and heavy equipment operators
• **Hand-digging & trenching** - Complete hand-digging, trenching, and grading using shovels and hand tools
• **Job-site cleanliness** - Maintain clean, organized job sites including debris removal and end-of-day cleanup
• **Follow supervisor direction** - Adapt to changing tasks and follow instructions from site supervisors
• **Backfilling & excavation support** - Support pipe laying, backfilling, and other excavation-related tasks
• **Safety compliance** - Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with company and job-site safety standards
• **General labor duties** - Perform additional labor tasks as assigned; duties and job sites may vary daily
