Zusammenfassung

Durham County Council invites applications for Sessional Invigilators to support examinations across DurhamLearn and other venues. You will prepare examination rooms, supervise learners, maintain exam conditions and ensure materials are stored and returned securely in line with awarding bodies.

You will assist with approved access arrangements, keep accurate records, and undertake related administrative tasks while upholding safeguarding, data protection and customer service standards.

Qualifikationen

• GCSEs at grades A-C including English and Maths.
• Experience in administration, customer service or similar.
• Experience using IT systems (email, databases, spreadsheets).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain records.
• Effective communication with adults and learners.
• Ability to follow procedures, maintain confidentiality and stay calm.
• Flexible, professional and reliable approach.
• Commitment to safeguarding and excellent customer service.
• Experience in exam invigilation or education environments is advantageous.

Aufgaben

• Prepare examination rooms and supervise learners during assessments.
• Maintain examination conditions and handle materials securely.
• Complete accurate records and transport/return materials securely.
• Support approved access arrangements and assist with admin tasks.
• Contribute to a high‑quality learner experience and compliance with regulations.
• Collaborate with colleagues on safeguarding and data protection standards.
• Travel between venues across County Durham as required.
