Job summary
PowerFlex is seeking an EVSE Field Technician to provide onsite technical support for electric vehicle charging equipment in the San Diego County area. This role requires a Bachelor's in engineering and experience in electrical engineering and EVSE.
The technician will perform diagnostics, repairs, and support commissioning of new charging sites, ensuring timely service and customer satisfaction.
The compensation ranges from $30 to $42 hourly and includes benefits like medical, dental, and 401(k).
Qualifications
- 3+ years of electrical engineering experience.
- 2+ years of experience working with EVSE.
- Hands-on experience working with hardware.
- Must have a valid Driver’s License.
Responsibilities
- Lead on-site diagnostics, repair, and preventative maintenance of EVSE hardware.
- Act as the field point of contact for escalated service needs.
- Develop and implement best practices for field configuration.
- Coordinate service visits and maintain field inventory tracking.
- Support commissioning of new charging sites.
