Job summary

Xanitos, Inc. is seeking an EVS Training Manager for University Health in San Antonio, TX. The role focuses on planning, coordinating, and implementing a comprehensive training program for new hires and ongoing staff in infection control, safety, and operational procedures.

The ideal candidate will lead training initiatives, develop documentation, and collaborate with HR and site leadership to ensure high quality service delivery and staff readiness.

Qualifications

• Vaccination against COVID-19 as a term of employment (unless exempt).
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and set priorities in a changing environment.
• Demonstrated initiative, responsibility, flexibility and leadership.
• Knowledge of contract administration and office procedures.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, execute, and document initial new-hire training (hospital orientation, department orientation, hands-on training).
• Coordinate clinic/group training on MSDS, RACE, Infection Control, safety, and department policies.
• Develop cross-training and remedial programs for one-on-one and small clinics.
• Create and manage Focus of the Week programs and management development efforts.
• Support department hospitality training and customize training documentation forms.
• Prepare site-specific training outlines and monthly activity reports.
• Collaborate with Regional Training Manager, HR, and on-site resources to stay current.
• Provide notice of training and arrange relief staff as needed.
• Prepare memory aids, master training schedules, and ensure QA program inspections.
