Job summary

Xanitos, Inc. is seeking an EVS Training Manager at St. Tammany in Covington, LA to lead and implement comprehensive training programs for environmental services staff.

The role focuses on initial and ongoing training, infection control, safety, and department-wide development in a hospital setting. The Training Manager will coordinate with HR and on-site teams to ensure timely execution, monitor QA activities, and maintain training documentation.

Qualifications

• High School diploma is required; college degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively in writing and in presentations.
• Ability to multi-task and set priorities in a changing environment.
• Exhibit initiative, responsibility and leadership.
• Knowledge of contract administration and office procedures is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, execute, and document new-hire initial training (hospital and department orientation, hands-on training).
• Coordinate clinic/group training covering MSDS, infection control, safety, and policy training for new hires and veteran staff.
• Develop cross-training and remedial programs for one-on-one and small groups.
• Create Focus of the Week programs and supervise management development initiatives.
• Prepare detailed outline of site-specific training programs and monthly activity reports.
• Collaborate with Regional Training Manager, HR, and on-site resources to stay at the leading edge.
