Xanitos, Inc. in Covington, LA seeks an EVS Training Manager to implement and run a comprehensive training program for hospital housekeeping staff, including new-hire orientation and ongoing training.

The role emphasizes clear communication, collaborative leadership, and documentation, with responsibilities ranging from MSDS and infection control training to monthly reporting and cross-training programs.

Qualifications

• Vaccination requirement for COVID-19 as a term of employment (unless exempt).
• High School Diploma is required; college degree or equivalent work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, execute, and document all new-hire initial training to include hospital orientation, department orientation, and hands-on job training.
• Plan, coordinate, execute, and document small clinic/group training in learning fundamentals (MSDS, RACE, Infection Control, Body Mechanics, Safety, Domestic Violence, Age-Specific Protocols, Hospital and Department P&P).
• Plan, coordinate, execute, and document cross-training and remedial training programs in one-on-one and small clinic formats.
• Plan, coordinate, execute, and document Focus of the Week programs.
• Plan, coordinate, execute, and document supervision/management development program in collaboration with the management team.
• Assist in planning, coordination, execution, and documentation of department hospitality training.
• Customize training documentation forms as required.
• Prepare a detailed outline of site-specific training programs in binder.
• Prepare monthly reports of training activity and statistics.
• Liaise with Regional Training Manager, Corporate HR, and Training staff and on-site resources.
• Provide adequate notice to supervisors/managers of impending training exercises and coordinator relief/replacement staff.
• Prepare memory aids for staff (MSDS, Mission, Race, etc.).
• Prepare a master training schedule several months in advance and review with management.
• Ensure the computer-based QA program operates smoothly with inspections.
• Coordinate and compile results of user satisfaction survey program.
• Collect supervision rounds forms and supervision team meeting minutes; present to Department Head.
• Coordinate and compile results of QA and Infection Control monitoring instrument programs.
