Job summary

Instrumentum in Richmond, Virginia is hiring an Environmental Services Technician for our offsite reprocessing center. This full‑time role, 11:00 am – 7:30 pm EDT, involves cleaning assigned areas, completing logs, and following approved procedures in a production environment that supports sterile instrument reprocessing.

You will maintain supply levels, follow SOPs, and ensure compliance with safety and cleanliness standards.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of housekeeping, janitorial, or custodial experience.
• Ability to read, follow and complete written procedures and logs.
• Reliable and punctual on a scheduled route.
• Comfort working independently for most of your shift.

Responsibilities

• Clean assigned work areas on a prescribed schedule, area by area.
• Complete housekeeping logs daily.
• Use only approved chemical solutions, following written procedures and dilution requirements.
• Keep janitorial supplies stocked and your work area and storage room clean and orderly.
• Follow Instrumentum’s Standard Operating Procedures and Work Instructions on every task.
• Hold the cleanliness standard that sterile processing operations depend on.

Education

High school diploma preferred, not required
