Job summary

AnMed is seeking a Technician I to operate the rotoclave waste removal system, clean carts and facilities, and accurately enter data into the computer. This role supports a busy healthcare environment in Anderson, SC, with shift hours that include early mornings and weekend coverage.

Preferred HS diploma or GED, ability to lift and bend, and strong reading/writing skills. Training provided; safe work practices required to protect patients and staff.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED preferred; experience in similar role may be considered in lieu of education.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions.

Responsibilities

• Operate rotoclave system and waste removal processes.
• Clean and organize carts and facility.
• Enter data on computer and maintain accurate records.
• Work without constant supervision and adhere to safety procedures.

Hours per Week: 6:00am-2:30pm +weekends as needed

Summary

Duties include operating rotoclave system (waste removal system), clean empty carts and facility, enter data on computer.

Responsibilities

• Has demonstrated proficiency in all responsibilities as required by Tech I.
• Understands all waste types and is able to dispose of in correct manner.
• Ability to work without constant supervision

Qualifications

HS Diploma or GED equivalent preferred; however, requisite experience in similar role will be considered in lieu of educational requirement when necessary and appropriate. Ability to follow written and oral instructions necessary.

Ability to lift, bend, and stoop continuously.

Qualified candidates must have good reading/ writing skills and computer knowledge.
