Job summary

AnMed in Anderson, SC is seeking a healthcare professional to support patient intake and radiology procedures. You will assist physicians, collect specimens, manage referrals, and help ensure efficient care delivery.

The role requires a clinical RT credential, ARRT/SCRQSA certification, and a commitment to patient-centered service. Wknds and varied shifts are common in this 8am–8pm, 8-hour schedule.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or possess a GED.
• Clinical degree / certificate in radiologic technology: RT.
• Current ARRT and/or SCRQSA certification.
• Complete employer-led competency checkoff of medication administration and venipuncture within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Greet incoming patients and perform initial assessments and charting.
• Assist physicians with procedures, diagnostic testing, and venipuncture as needed.
• Arrange and track referrals, tests, and lab results in the EHR system.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Greetincoming patients in a friendly and professional manner. If required, performan initial assessment (vital signs, chief complaint, updating medication list, etc.) and enterinformation into the patient’s chart. Preparethe patient for acomplete examination or office procedure with appropriate dress and ensure all necessary supplies are available.


• Assistphysician/provider with patient care as needed: office procedures, diagnostic testing, chaperons, specimen collection, wound care, treatments, post-operative rehabilitation, medication management, medication administration and venipuncture, etc.


• Arranges / schedules referrals, procedures, additional testing as needed. Tracks and maintains referrals as needed and tracks and enters test results into the EHR. Gives patients results of diagnostic tests and calls in physician / provider’s orders and/or requests as needed.


• Maintainand successfully trouble-shootx-ray equipment and processor following manufacturer’s guidelines and DHEC protocol.


• Performs x-rays or other radiologic scans per provider request and prepares them for review. Prepares images and sends them to be read by an external radiologist, per accrediting requirements.


• Maintainan acceptable level of supplies for x-ray equipment.

Qualifications:

High school graduate or possess a GED.

Clinical degree / certificate in appropriate field: RT.

Current ARRT and / or SCRQSA certification.

Complete employer-led competency checkoff of medication administration and venipuncture within 30 days of hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Minimum of two (2) years of clinical experience preferred
